1950 Chris-Craft Riviera

Approximately 20 or so years ago this boat underwent an entire restoration including replacement of all of the ribbing, decking, and flooring with all new wood. The electrical and mechanical systems are either brand new, or are in excellent condition. The bottom had been West Systems epoxied. The entire boat is now “as new” and in simply beautiful condition. After Mike purchased last week, a 150 hour service was performed, including a tune up of the engine, and some modifications of the interior such as a rubber floor was installed, and a cabin cover was fabricated by George.

The following year, Mike stripped the entire wood surface then bleached, stained, varnished, and re-caulked the entire exterior. A very labor intensive process resulted in a phenomenal shine and gloss that will last and protect the boat for years to come. The interior was also refreshed, adding the red trim to the seats and the cockpit surround. All new wiring, new gauges, new double battery system, new stereo/bluetooth system. The engine was pulled, painted, new cooling system was added. And lastly, the boat was renamed from the previous “Sentimental Journey” to the new “Good Witch” as a sentiment to Mike’s wife, Glinda.
