Gassman Automotive has been restoring and servicing classic cars – foreign and domestic – since 1992. Mike Gassman and his staff have built an excellent business based on a long reputation of attention to detail and passion for cars. Beginning with just a three bay garage, Gassman Automotive is now home to a 13,000 square foot facility performing services including upholstery, paint and body work, mechanical rebuilding, fabrication, electrical diagnostics, and complete restorations.
Mike’s 1965 Triumph TR4, which was restored in 2014, was featured in Ratchet & Wrench’s “Hot wheels” section in their September 2015 publication.
One of our customers, Martin Stickley, owns the original black-over-pink 1956 Austin-Healey 100M that was the Earls Court display car used to introduce the 100M to the public in 1955. The car was recently featured in the magazine after Gerry Coker, one of the car’s original designers, was interviewed by the owner, Mr. Stickley.
Gassman Automotive sold a 1957 MGA 1500 at the 2015 Amelia Island Gooding & Co. auction.
Our 1952 Ferrari 212 Inter Geneva Coupe Vignale was featured on the cover of September 2014’s issue of Classic & Sports Car, a British publication.
The owner of the 1952 Ferrari 212 Inter Geneva Coupe Vignale decided to sell the Ferrari after showing it at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and with much success. The car sold for $1,787,500 – which is incredible! The car now resides in London and was recently shown at Salon Prive where it won a few awards.
What an honor it was to have a second car on the field of Pebble Beach in August of 2013, the first being the 1952 Allard K2. The 1952 Ferrari 212 Inter Geneva Coupe Vignale was invited to grace the field with its presence this year, which was both exciting and such an honor. Being among 200 of the nicest cars in the world is an experience all its own. While no awards were received this year, just having the car on the field was so fantastic. We could not be more pleased.

Platinum Level Award
Gassman Automotive represented the 1952 Ferrari 212 Inter Geneva Coupe Vignale, which was restored in January of 2013, at the Concorso d’Eleganza at The Breakers on January 26, 2013. The car received a Platinum Level Award, and will continue on to other car shows this year. Most of the staff at Gassman Automotive had the pleasure of joining the shop owners, Glinda and Mike Gassman, as well as car owners, Jane and Mike Green, and had a wonderful time. We all enjoyed the Track Day at Palm Beach International Raceway, as well as the Concorso d’Eleganza at The Breakers. Many beautiful Ferraris were shown and raced this weekend, and it was quite spectacular.
