Last Thursday, the 2nd, the engine was started for the first time. The car was driven on Friday and everything runs great. Watch the engine start here

October 1, 2014:

The push rods were installed and the valves were set in the engine. Doing so required removing the valve cover, so it was re-painted to make it look perfect. The carburetors are installed and are almost completed hook up. Electronics continue to be assembled. Dave U. is currently hooking up the accelerator pedal into the engine compartment.

September 30, 2014:

The radiator and many of the engine ancillaries, including air intakes, were installed today. The radiator has recently had a new core installed, and was painted with radiator paint on the core, and semi-gloss black on the rest of it.

After the wire harness was installed, the engine and transmission were prepared for install. This morning, the engine was hoisted up, and with the help of 5 people it was installed without any issues. As well as the leaf springs, the rest of the suspension and under-carriage parts were cleaned and painted black. The frame was primed on Thursday, 8/14, and it is now in the body shop for final sanding and smoothing.

August 13, 2014:

Because of the high level of quality that this car will be restored to, even the leaf springs were dis-assembled, cleaned, and individually painted before being re-assembled for installation. The concours level restoration is living up to its name with the thoroughness of the body, frame, and parts.

August 11, 2014:

The frame continues to be filled, sanded, and smoothed.

July 30, 2014:
