Headlights all too often become foggy and yellowed over time. This is caused by UV rays and heat from the bulbs which create oxidation. Other than buying a new headlight assembly, restoration is the only way to undo this. Gassman Automotive uses a special compound along with wet sanding to eliminate the outer most layer of plastic on the lenses which contains this oxidation. As well as increasing cosmetic appeal, restoring your headlights will also restore illumination from the bulbs.
As well as restoring foggy headlights, we can also convert old incandescent bulb headlights to new, modern HID lamps – which stands for High Intensity Discharge. New HID lamps will drastically improve the illumination for your night time driving to a much more substantial visibility to keep you safely on the road.
