Very early 1969 Triumph TR6, incredibly solid and rare color combination with a massive amount of high end modifications, all detailed, photographed, and described below in the last 30 photos. Please read and look at all below.

This very early (2,069th car of only 7,981 total built for 1969) first year of the completely redesigned, most masculine sports car to leave England. This car featured disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, IRS rear suspension, a silky smooth 2.5 liter 4 main bearing engine, and a time tested silky smooth 4 speed transmission. Everything about this TR6 is special, starting at the color which is code 19 White paired with code 12 Matador Red interior. After a proper and very nice restoration was completed on this original, rock solid car, money was poured in with shovels. Every modification on this car is of the highest quality available, and was personally done and approved by Mike Gassman of Gassman Automotive, a 40 year owner of a 1969 TR6, and multiple time national first place winner in VTR and TRA.

Mike raced cars with Richard Good for many years, and has the highest respect for his products. That coupled with Gassman Automotive’s experience and attention to detail creates a car that flows from front to rear as if nothing had ever been modified, it just feels like a factory car that really works. We estimate horsepower to be in the 145-150 range. The car is tuned to run on 93 octane pump gas with no detonation, overheating, or crazy cam lope. It is extremely drivable in the low RPM range, and explodes in the 3,700-5,500 range. Great amounts of time were spent on the tuning and dialing in of this car’s performance. It is completely de-bugged and ready to go, needing nothing for an immediate ride. Offered at a fraction of the build cost.
