The current owner of this car purchased it from Mohr Imports in Monterey, California where they had consigned the car from the long term owner who was the second owner of the car. Always used in California, this rust free car is an exceptional example of the iconic sports car, living in the dry west coast. Having traveled only a little over 80,000 miles since new, the car has never lost that new car feel.
In the 90s, as was common with these cars, a color change from the original tangerine to spa white was done, rear steel fender flares were welded in very nicely and an S style spoiler was installed in the front. A black-out of all chrome was done and the Porsche racing stripes were installed on the lower doors.
The car comes with its C.O.A. and has matching numbers throughout. It has the desirable sunroof and 4 speed transmission. There are really no stories that go along with this car in any derogatory terms. Just turn the key and go. It runs extremely well and since the current owner installed a sway bar, it rides on rails. The seats have also had new foam installed approximately 7 years ago.
A vigorous maintenance routine has been followed to a T on this car while living in a climate controlled environment. This car is truly ready to go and will certainly please the most avid enthusiast. Quite stunning, simple, and fun.
